
María Victoria “Maví” Zingoni is CEO of GE Power, effective January 2023, as the company is working towards the planned spin of GE Vernova in early 2024. She will help the team continue to make progress financially across GE Power and partner with our customers to accelerate the global energy transition. Maví’s 24 years of experience in the energy sector will help identify opportunities that arise from today’s energy transition and directly support customers as they manage through decarbonization and electrification globally.
Maví joined GE from the global multi-energy company, Repsol, where she served as the Executive Managing Director of Commercial Businesses and Low Carbon Generation and was a member of Repsol’s Executive Committee. In her most recent role, Maví was responsible for building and managing renewable electricity generation and low-emissions asset portfolio for Repsol and growing and expanding the business internationally. She also designed the company’s multi-energy and mobility offering working to comprehensively meet customers’ mobility and energy needs.
During Maví’s career at Repsol she held leadership roles across a wide variety of energy businesses and finance responsibilities, including Investor Relations and Corporate Finance. Her experience spans across the value chain from Industrial (Upstream, Refining, Chemicals) to Commercial businesses (Trading, Service Stations, LPG, Lubricants, Aviation) and includes managing transformations, international expansions and new businesses entrance in sectors like retail Power retail, EV and Distributed Generation. Maví’s experience in Business Development includes leading the Talisman acquisition ($13B) and the partial divestiture of the renewables business ($4.5B).
Maví is a National Public Accountant certified by the National University of Comahue in Neuquén, Argentina. She graduated with an Executive MBA from the IAE Business School of Universidad Austral Argentina and completed the Advanced Management Program at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Maví is active in both educational and philanthropic efforts. She is a board member of the Universidad Austral.
