Configuring the Advanced Analytics Sink block

Warning: This block has been deprecated since the release of CSense 7 and will no longer be supported. Blueprints containing Advanced Analytics Sink blocks will no longer be able to be deployed as CSense Action Objects and should therefore be removed from all your blueprints.

Configure the following:

  1. Name: Define the name of the Advanced Analytics Action Object

  2. Category: Define the type of the Advanced Analytics Action Object

  3. Fields: Select the fields from the input port to be included in the Advanced Analytics Action Object

Name

  • A name must be defined, this cannot be left blank.

  • Special characters are allowed.

  • Limited to 256 characters.

Category

  • A category must be selected, this cannot remain empty.

  • Special characters are allowed.

Select fields from input port

  • Select at least 1 field from the Available Fields list that will be included in the Action Object.

  • Fields can be of any data type.

  • There is a limit to the number of fields that can be selected, dependent on the size of the field type. When the maximum number of fields has been reached, you will no longer be able to select more fields.

  • A Quality field is generated for each Selected Field, and is named Field_Quality.

    • Potential issues: Because of the automatically added postfix _Quality, there is the potential to have duplicate field names in the Selected Fields list.
For example: If the following two fields are in the Available Fields list - Field1 and Field1_Quality -  and Field1 is selected, the generated Quality field will be Field1_Quality. This would create a duplicate if Field1_Quality was originally selected as well. Fields that lead to duplicate field names when selected are not able to be moved to the Selected Fields list. They remain in the Available Fields list.

    • Timestamp and Quality are reserved words and also will not be allowed to be Selected Fields. They will remain in the Available Fields list.

    • Using the [>>] button to add all Available Fields to the Selected Fields will select fields from top to bottom. If there are any duplicate or potentially duplicated field names, the fields are left in the Available Fields list. Thus the order of your fields listed will determine which of the fields are selected, to prevent possibly auto-generating duplicate Selected Fields.
