Copy a Tag Using Historian Administrator

About this task

If you want to create a copy of an existing tag with all the same properties, use the Copy Tag function. Copy Tag works only for individual tags. You cannot copy multiple tags at once.

Procedure

Select a tag to copy from the tag list.
Select the Copy Tag link in the Tag Maintenance page.
The Copy Tag window appears.
Type a new tag name.
Select OK to copy the tag and all the associated tag properties.
