SQL Data Block

Purpose

The SQL Data (SQD) block identifies the data to read or write when a SQL Trigger block executes. The SQL Data block transfers data between the iFIX process database and your relational database.

Features

The SQL Data block:

  • Is a secondary block.
  • Only follows an SQL Trigger block.
  • Identifies up to 20 block and field name pairs.
  • Chains to other SQL Data blocks.
  • Determines the direction of data transfer.
