If you decide to implement a networked iFIX system, make sure that all nodes are using compatible network configurations. iFIX supports TCP/IP interfaces for peer-to-peer communication. NetBIOS is no longer supported. If you have difficulty networking your computer, refer to the Troubleshooting chapter of the Setting Up the Environment manual to pinpoint and resolve your problems.
