Access an RBI Component

IMPORTANT: To distinguish PRD Components from RBI Components in a Corrosion Loop, PRD Components have the icon before the Component ID. All PRD Components function in the same way as RBI Components. However, RBI Components are terminal while PRD Components must have child components.

The RBI Pipeline Segment component functions in the same way as RBI Components. It is only visible if the Pipeline Management license is active.

Steps

Access the RBI Overview page for the asset containing the RBI Component that you want to access.

In the workspace heading, select the Assets tab.

The Assets section appears, displaying a list of Assets contained in the unit.

In the Assets workspace, select the Asset ID that contains the RBI Component that you want to access.

The Asset Summary page appears, displaying the Asset Overview section.

In the left pane, select the RBI Component that you want to view.

The workspace for the selected RBI Component appears, displaying the Component Overview section.

Tip: You can modify the selected RBI Component by making changes to the datasheet in the Component Details section and then selecting .
