Create a Recommendation for a Degradation Mechanism (DM)

This topic explains how to create a recommendation for a single DM in an analysis. To generate recommendations for all of the DMs contained in an analysis, you can generate recommendations.

Steps

Access RBI Analyses for the DM to which you want to create a recommendation.

Below the graph, select the Analysis ID for the analysis containing the DMs for which you want to create a recommendation.

The workspace for the selected analysis appears, displaying the Analysis Details section.

In the workspace heading, select the Degradation Mechanisms tab.

The Degradation Mechanisms section appears, displaying a list of DMs associated with the analysis.

In the Degradation Mechanisms grid, next to the DM to which you want to add a recommendation, select .

A message appears, confirming that you have successfully generated a recommendation for the DM.

Results

You can now utilize the functionality of the Recommendations pane.
