Production Event Template records store general event information that can be used to create more specific Production Events. This topic provides an alphabetical list and description of the fields that exist for the Production Event Template family and appear on the Production Event Template datasheet. The information in the table reflects the baseline state and behavior of these fields.

Other Event Costs | Number | Costs that are associated with the events that will be created automatically from this template and are not recorded in the selected Work History. | The value is preceded by a currency symbol, which is set by default to $. You can change the Currency symbol. |

Source Production Unit | Character | The production unit in which the events that will be created automatically from this template occurred. | This field contains a list, which displays the IDs of all Production Units. When you save the Production Event Template, it will be linked automatically to the selected Production Unit. After the two records are linked, if you change the value in the Production Unit Name field in the Production Unit, the value in the Source Production Unit field in the Production Event Template will be updated automatically to reflect the change. |
