Creating and Configuring the Production Overview Display

Overview

The Production Overview display is a real-time application used to show data specific to the performance of each production unit on a product line. There are four different views available for the Production Overview. They are Production Execution Path View, Units View, Alarms View, and Icons View.

To Create Production Overview Displays

  1. In the Plant Applications Server Manager tree, expand Client Management.

  2. Expand the Displays folder

  3. Right-click on the display group and point to Add New Display and click Production Overview. An editable text field will appear under the display group.

  4. Type the name of the new display and press ENTER.  

  5. Display names must be unique.

  6. Right-click on the new display and click Edit <display name>. The Display Edit - Production Overview dialog box appears.

  7. Select the default time window of the display by updating the Initial and Max window hours.

  8. Select the Production Line to be displayed using the Line Information pick list.

  9. Select the Units tab.

  10. Select each Production Unit from the Available Units window that will be used on this Production Overview Display and click Add.

  11. Select The Display Options tab.

  12. The various Display Options can be used to enhance the functionality of the Genealogy display.

  13. Click the Save icon.

  14. Click Yes to activate the display.

  15. Click the Close button to exit and close the Display Edit - Production Overview dialog box.
