Detecting a Downtime Event

To detect a Downtime event

  1. Expand Plant Model.

  2. Expand the desired department and production line.

  3. Right-click the desired production unit and select Configure Events on <production unit name>. The Event Configuration dialog box appears.

  4. Select Downtime from the Available Events to Add list.

  5. Click Add Event to add the Downtime event to the production unit.

  6. Click the Enable Events tab and, under Events Enabled On This Unit, click Downtime.

  7. Click the Configure Event Detection Models tab.

  8. Under Available Models To Assign, click the downtime model you want to use and click Assign Model.

  9. Under Selected Model Properties, select each model property and click Edit to edit the Value for each property.

  10. Click Activate to activate the model.

You cannot activate a model unless all properties have been assigned a value.
