Establishing Downtime Locations
A location must be selected to enable reasons. If a production unit has child units, any or all of the locations can selected. If a parent production unit has downtime, all child units also have downtime.
To establish downtime locations

In the Plant Applications Administrator, expand Plant Model.

Expand the department and production line that contains the desired production unit.

Right-click the production unit and select Configure Events on <production unit name>. The Event Configuration dialog box appears.

On the Configured Models tab, double-click on the downtime model to open the configuration screen.

Click the Reason Tree Configuration tab.

Select the Downtime Locations tab.

In the Downtime Locations dialog box, the selected Production Unit and its Child Units are displayed as potential locations for Downtime.

Select the location to be associated with the Downtime model. The Tree Selection dialog is displayed.

Select the desired Downtime tree for the location from the Tree Selection dialog, and click OK.

Save the model.

Close the Edit Model configuration screen, and reload services when prompted to incorporate the changes.
