Specification Variable Specification History

Viewing the specification history of a specification variable enables you to see what changes were made to a specification, when the change was made, and, if e-signature is enabled, who made the change.

To manage central specification variables: In the Plant Applications Server Manager tree, expand Product Management, expand Product Properties, and expand a specific product property.

To view a specification variable's specification history

1. Expand Specification Variables.

2. Right-click on the desired specification variable and click Specification History. The Specification History Viewer window appears. There will be no information displayed in the window.

3. On the main Server Manager window, click either the Tile Horizontal button or the Tile Vertical button. The Specification History Viewer window and the Server Manager window are tiled so that they can both be viewed at the same time.

4. On the Server Manager window, expand the Characteristics folder and click a characteristic. The specification history for the selected characteristic will be displayed in the Specification History Viewer window.
