Using the Publish-To-Web Wizard
IMPORTANT: You must be a member of the Publish To Web security group or have Administrator rights to the Administrator security group before you can use the Publish-to-Web Wizard. For more information on configuring security, see Configuring Security
After you have created your reports, you can use the Publish-to-Web Wizard to create a web report, using the saved Excel workbook. With this handy Wizard, not only can you quickly create a template, you can also thoroughly test the report before you publish and schedule it. Even after it has been published, you can use the Publish-to-Web Wizard to easily modify existing templates.
After you’ve created and tested your template, you can use the Plant Applications Web Server to create ad-hoc reports based on the template or to schedule reports to be run at specific times. For more information, please see the Plant Applications Web Server documentation.
IMPORTANT: You can not test your Web report on the same computer where the Plant Applications Report Engine services or Plant Applications Scheduler service are running. You must test on a client computer that is connected to the Proficy Server and Web Server.
