Add a Lot to an In-Progress Work Order

Before you begin

To add a lot to a work order, all of the following conditions must be met:
  • The behavior Allow addition of material lots to a work order in progress is set for the route (see Create a Route Revision).
  • The work order is in progress.
  • The work order is for a serialized product.
  • You have the permission to add lots to in-progress work orders running on the specified line (see About the Security Application)

Procedure

  1. Select the work order to modify.
  2. Click .
  3. Click Add Lots to Work Order. This will bring up the Add Lots to Work Order dialog.
  4. Enter the number of additional lots in NO OF LOTS TO ADD. This will add rows as required to the ENTER SERIAL/LOT# table.
  5. Click to generate the remaining SERIAL/LOT# and GENERATED SERIAL/LOT#.
  6. Click ADD LOTS.

    Added lots will be appended to the bottom of the list. There is no need to enter anything in the SERIAL/LOT# field; the Auto Populate function looks after this.
