Properties
Connection
The data source provider for this Wonderware Historian.

Hide System Fields:
Set Yes to hide the systems fields listed in the System Status Tags table, No to show the system fields in the selection list.
Data Retrieval:
Specifies how data is retrieved from Wonderware Historian (Delta or Cyclic).
Time Deadband:
Specifies the time deadband that controls the time resolution of data returned. Any change that occurs within the time deadband (in seconds) will not be returned.
Value Deadband:
Specifies the value deadband that controls the value of resolution of data returned. The value is a percentage of full scale, in engineering units. The range for this value is from 0 to 100.
Sampling Period:
Polling interval in seconds to read data from the physical media the minimum value is 1.
Import Options:
The following two options are available for this setting:
-
Use only data in this time window:
Allows users to specify a window start and end time for importing data -
Use the latest data available:
Allows users to import the most recent data by specifying a duration
Window Begin Time
Specifies the start of the time window for the selected tags. (See Import Options above)
Window End Time
Specifies the end of the time window for the selected tags (See Import Options above)
Duration:
The duration of the data import window (See Import Options above)Create Index
If enabled, the source will create a new unique index for every row of data read from the source. The index will be incremented on every execute. The starting value is determined by the Index Start Value property.
Index Starting value
The starting value for the index if the Create Index property is enabled.
Index Field
If the Create Index property is disabled, select a field from the data source to use as the index field. Indexes do not have to be unique.
Select TAB
Select the fields you wish to import from the specified data set and set the data types. Five data types are supported and interpreted as either Discrete or Continuous when read:
-
String (S) - Discrete
-
Double (D) - Continuous
-
Integer (I) - Continuous or Discrete (Conversion allowed)
-
Timestamp (T) - Timestamp or Discrete (Conversion allowed)
-
Quality (Q) - Discrete or Continuous (Conversion allowed)
Convert between these data types by selecting the required fields from the list and clicking on the conversion buttons provided. Only valid conversions are supported.
Click Refresh to refresh the field list if property changes have been made.
Preview TAB
The Preview TAB provides a sample preview of the data set as read using the currently specified properties.
