Configuring the PLS Model block

  1. Load the XML file containing your PLS model. These files are exported directly from Discrete and Batch Troubleshooter, during the Action Deployment step, where you are asked if you want to export your PCA model to an XML file.

  2. Map all the required fields in the PLS model to the available double fields in the input port. Automatic mapping occurs when [<<] is selected.

NOTE: If any required fields are not mapped to available double ports, the block will not run.

Caution: Field types and selection

It is important to decide which continuous fields are to be selected while creating the PLS model in the Troubleshooter, both during data property configuration as well as when selecting fields for the model. (Only continuous fields are used to construct the model.)  This is because the fields selected during model construction in the Troubleshooter need to be mapped to the double fields in the input port in the Architect blueprint.

Likewise, when selecting fields during configuration of the Text Source Input port, the correct fields with double type data need to be selected, to be mapped correctly to the required fields in the PLS Model block.

The input port must contain all fields used in constructing the loaded PLS model, and these input fields must be mapped to the required fields of the PLS model.
