Configuring the Reset on Input Change block

To open the block property page (the page on which the block configuration is specified), either double click on the block or right-click on the block and select Block Properties.

The block automatically lists the available resettable blocks in the blueprint or superblock in which it is situated, the block(s) that should be reset (following a reset event) must be selected during configuration.

To select a particular block to reset, double click on the block name in the Available blocks list, the block name will move over to the Blocks to reset list.

To select all the available blocks for reset click on the >> button, all the fields will move over to the Blocks to reset list. To deselect all the blocks in the Blocks to reset list for reset, click on the << button, all the fields will move back to the Available blocks list.

The order in which the blocks should be reset may be important and may be specified using the move up
and move down
buttons.

The move up button moves a selected field up in the list while the move down button moves a selected field down in the list.

The single input to the reset on input change block is used to determine when a reset event occurs. An increase, decrease or increase/decrease in this field may trigger the reset event if the appropriate reset option is toggled on.

If an increase in the input field indicates a reset event, select the Rising edge option.

If a decrease in the input field indicates a reset event, select the Falling edge option.

If either an increase or decrease in the input field indicates a reset event, select the Both edges option.

If the input should be interpreted as a VB/Excel date/time, toggle the Interpret input as VB/Excel date-time on.

An offset may be applied to the reset time option if the input field is in the form of a VB/Excel date/time. The offset period must be specified in milliseconds.
