Creating an ISV Action Object

There are three ways that you can build an ISV Action Object:

  1. Using the Action Object Toolkit, or

  2. Using Continuous Troubleshooter, or

  3. Using Architect.

Create a .ISV file directly from a blueprint mgd or .xml file. An ISV Action Object has a .isv file extension.

Using Continuous Troubleshooter

Within the Continuous Troubleshooter, the blueprints are deployed as ISV Action Objects in the Action Deployment step.

  • Select [Export Action Object] and name and save the Action Object .isv file.

Using Architect

From within the Architect, either the entire blueprint or a defined superblock can be deployed as an ISV Action Object.

  • Superblock: right click the super block and select [Export Action Object]. Name and save the Action Object .isv file.

  • Blueprint: from the [File] tab, select [Export Action Object]. Name and save the Action Object .isv file.
