Use the Apply Template Builder

Before You Begin

Using the Apply Template Builder, you can choose to keep or exchange any RCM Asset record that is associated with the template that you are applying to a new RCM Analysis. These instructions assume that the template with which you are creating a new Analysis is associated with at least one RCM Asset record.

Note: This functionality is available on all levels of an RCM analysis.

Steps

1. Access the RCM Module Overview page.

2. Select the analysis in which you want to use the Apply Template Builder.

   In a new tab, the Analysis Details (Analysis Details) workspace for the selected analysis appears, displaying the Analysis Overview (Analysis Overview) section.

3. In the upper-right corner of the workspace, select .

   The Apply Template Builder (Apply Template Builder) window appears.

   

4. Select Next (Next).

   The Select Template (Select Template) screen appears.

5. Select the template that you want to apply, and then select Next.

   The Asset Assignment screen appears.

6. In the drop-down menu, select the Asset Assignment that you want to use, and then select Finish (Finish).

   The selected template is applied to your analysis and will be listed in the left pane on the analysis level (Failure, Failure Mode, or Failure Effect) that you selected.
