If you are using Meridium Enterprise APM Mobile Application, then the Rounds Data Collection module allows you take readings either online or offline. The default option is online, which means the mobile device must be connected to the network while you take readings.
Following are the options for data synchronization between the mobile device and Meridium Enterprise APM:
If needed, you can modify these values by selecting the Device Settings button in the upper-right corner of the Rounds Data Collection Overview page.
However, when you are taking readings in the online mode, if you are disconnected from the network, you may lose data. To avoid this issue, you can enable offline access for the Route before you start data collection.
When you enable offline access for a Route:
When you reconnect the mobile device to the network, any readings that you have taken while offline will be uploaded automatically to the Meridium Enterprise APM database. The icon in the upper-right corner of the datasheet for each Measurement Location changes to
(blue color), indicating that the reading is uploaded to the database.
