Table 1. Enhancements and New Features

The following enhancements and new features have been added.

For a given Sub Group, month, and year, you can now see the distribution of the generation values (that is, gross actual generation and net actual generation) in a bar chart. To facilitate this enhancement, the following changes have been made:
  • The GENERAL PERFORMANCE METRICS section has been added to the GAA Wind Overview page.
  • The following Catalog Items have been added:
    • The Get Actual Generation for Sub Groups graph query in the Graph Queries subfolder in the Queries folder.
    • The GAA Wind General Performance Metrics graph in the Graphs folder.

You can now access Events that need review (that is, Events whose value in the NERC Type field is neither CTH nor RUTH). To facilitate this enhancement, the Events Needing Review section has been added to the GAA Wind Overview page.US318255
To improve the accuracy of the data used to create or regenerate Performance Records, the following changes have been made:
  • In the Sub Group Capacity record:
    • The Net Actual Generation field is no longer used.
    • You can now enter a value in the Total Loss Estimate (%) field even after the record has been saved.
  • In the GAA Wind Sub Group Capacity data loader workbook, in the Sub Group Capacity worksheet, the Net Actual Generation field has been deleted.
  • In the Performance Record:
    • The Total Loss Estimate (%) field is now populated with the value in the respective field of the associated Sub Group Capacity record. In addition, the value in this field is no longer dependent on the values in the Gross Actual Generation and Net Actual Generation fields.
    • You can now modify the value in the Gross Actual Generation field. The value must be either greater than or equal to the value in the Net Actual Generation field.
    • The value in the Net Actual Generation field is now dependent on the values in the Gross Actual Generation and Total Loss Estimate (%) fields.
    • In the Net Actual Generation field, you can no longer enter a value that is greater than that in the Gross Actual Generation field.
    • You can no longer modify the value in the Net Maximum Capacity field.
    • The value in the Net Maximum Capacity field is now updated whenever the value in the Gross Actual Generation field or the Net Actual Generation field changes.
  • When you regenerate a Performance Record, you can now choose whether or not the values in the following fields should be updated:
    • Gross Actual Generation
    • Net Actual Generation
    • Net Maximum Capacity

You can now access information about the error that appears in the Error Code column. To facilitate this enhancement, the error value in the Error Code column has been made a link.US308237
You can no longer create a Performance Record if the IU time percentage for the associated Events exceeds 2%.US308235
You can now modify Events from the GAA Wind Overview page. To facilitate this enhancement, the Edit Events button has been introduced in the All Events, Edited Events, and Events Needing Review sections in the GAA Wind Overview page.US299742
For a Unit in a Sub Group, if the imported Events have a gap in time, you can now create one or more Events for the missing period.
Note: For a Unit, for the specified period (that is, the report time), if the value in the Start Date field of an Event is different from that in the End Date field of the previous Event, the two Events are considered to have a gap in time. In addition, for the Unit, if the imported Events do not account for the complete duration of the specified period, the Events are considered to have a gap in time.
To facilitate this enhancement, the following changes have been made:
  • In the Sub Group Summary page, in the Events workspace, the Create button ( ) has been added.
  • The Event Creation Type field has been added to the GAA Wind Event family.

  • Aggregated Error Code

You can now split an Event into two or more Events. To facilitate this enhancement, the following changes have been made:
  • In the Sub Group Summary page, in the Events workspace, the Split button () has been added.
  • The Is Split Event field has been added to the GAA Wind Event family.

To improve usability, the following fields have been added to the GAA Wind Performance family:
  • Calendar Hours
  • Turbine Hours

In addition, with the exception of the Gross Actual Generation and Net Actual Generation fields, the fields that appear in the GAA Wind Performance datasheet are now disabled.

To enhance usability, the Event Duration field has been added to the GAA Wind Events family. This field appears as a column in the tables in:
  • The All Events, Edited Events, and Events Needing Review sections in the GAA Wind Overview page.
  • The Events workspace in the GAA Wind Sub Group Summary page.
