GE Vernova and Technip Energies are preparing to build a giant power plant with carbon capture and storage in Teesside, an industrial hub in northeast England.

GE Vernova’s technology will be capable of capturing up to 1,500 tons of CO₂ per year, roughly equivalent to the carbon removal potential of planting 70,000 fully mature trees.
