Link an RBI Component to a TML Group

Before You Begin

• The source of the Calculated Corrosion Rates in the RBI Component must be set to Component in Record Manager.

Steps

1. Access the RBI Component to which you want to link a TML group.

2. In the workspace heading, select .

   The Manage TML Groups window appears.

   

3. Next to the TML Groups that you want to link to the RBI Component, select the check boxes, and then select OK.

   The selected TML Groups are linked to the RBI Component.

Results

• An RBI Component linked to a TML Group inherits RBI corrosion rate values for the RBI Analysis. If the analysis has a Criticality Calculator Internal Corrosion Damage Mechanism Evaluation, the resulting RBI Analysis will be based on the average of the following values in the TML Corrosion Analyses that is linked to the TM Analysis:

  • Short Term Corrosion Rate
  • Long Term Corrosion Rate
