About Access to Configuration Manager Features

You need a Developers license to perform the following functions:

Adding or deleting an Entity family on the Family Management page.
Adding an Entity family by using the Import tool.
Adding or deleting Fields via the Family Management page.
Adding family Fields by using the Import tool.
Adding, editing, or deleting Relationship families via the Family Management page.
Adding or editing Relationship families by using the Import tool.
Adding, editing, or deleting Relationship Definitions via Family Management page.
Adding or editing Relationship Definitions by using the Import tool.
Adding, editing, or deleting VB Rules by using Rules Editor.

The following table lists the permissions granted to the to the MI Configuration Role and MI APMNow Admin Security Groups for accessing the various administrative features of Configuration Manager.

Manage Translations	Not Applicable	There is no add, edit, or delete function that you can perform in this feature. However, if you are a part of this group, then you can perform all of the translations tasks.
Import	Not Applicable	There is no add, edit, or delete function that you can perform in this feature. However, you can import all metadata if you are part of this group.
Export	Not Applicable	There is no add, edit, or delete function that you can perform in this feature. However, you can export metadata if you are part of this group.
Content Validation	Not Applicable	There is no add, edit, or delete function that you can perform in this feature.

Family Reports	Add, Edit, or Delete	There is no edit function that you can perform on this feature. However, you can mark a report as default.
