About This Task
This topic describes how to migrate Work History family data from a source family in APM into the HyperStage PostreSQL database. You can then create visualization on the data.To migrate the data, an ETL tool named the Advanced Visualization Data Migrator tool is used.
Procedure
- Access the Advanced Visualization page.
- Select
, and then select Prepare and Manage Data.The SERVER page appears.
- Under Applications, select .
- In the Application Directories section, right-click the flow whose data you want to migrate, and then select Submit.
The job ID appears in the Submit section.
- In the File Panel section, right-click the flow that you have submitted, and then select .
The status of the flow appears (for example, pending, running, done).
- Repeat the aforementioned steps for all the flows.
- In the Application Directories section, right-click global_flow whose data you want to migrate, and then select
- Select the E-Mail On Start, E-Mail On Failure, and E-Mail On Completion check boxes, and enter the email ID. For multiple email IDs, separate them using a semi-colon.
- Select OK.
- Right-click global_flow, and select Submit.
An email notification appears on the flow start, failures, and completion.
- To check the flow status in the interim, in the File Panel section, right-click the flow that you have submitted, and then select .
- For scheduling the flow, say weekly: select
- In the Schedule Type box, select Recurring.
- In the Interval Type box, select Weekly.
- In the Special date/time ranges box, select On Days of Week.
- Select the start date and start time as required, and select Set.
What To Do Next
After you submit the global_flow and the status changed to done, create visualizations on the data via HyperStage.
