Table 1. Enhancements and New Features

The following enhancements and new features have been added.

DescriptionTracking ID
Thickness Monitoring now supports TML Groups with linked child TML Groups. You can configure this feature in the TM Family Preferences.US312372
The time required to load the Analysis Overview page for an asset has been reduced.US312357
The Thickness Monitoring (TM) Equipment and Thickness Monitoring (TM) Functional Location Data Loaders have been enhanced to skip any blank cells when you create or update records using the data loaders.US300470
To enhance the data loading process for large amounts of data and to prevent the failure of data load batches that take longer than five minutes, the Thickness Measurement (TM) Equipment data loader and the Thickness Measurement (TM) Functional Location data loader have been enhanced.

To facilitate this enhancement and to prevent timeouts, the TM Equipment Data Loader and the TM Functional Location Data loader now split large amounts of data into the following transaction scopes:

  • Asset Level Data
  • TML Groups in 100-count batches
  • Thickness Measurement Locations in 100-count batches
  • Measurements in 250-count batches

In addition to these default values, you can modify these transaction scopes if required.

US309806, DE98795
To prevent failure of TML batches that took longer than five minutes, the TML renewal functionality has been enhanced to perform the renewal job through a scheduler. Performing the job through a scheduler provides the following advantages:
  • You can renew a large number of TMLs without any timeout errors.
  • You can view the progress of the job in the Renew TMLs window.
  • You can close the Renew TMLs window without cancelling the job.
  • You can view the current and past job details from the scheduler.
US310307
To prevent failure of TML batches that took longer than five minutes, the TML nominal measurement creation functionality has been enhanced to perform the renewal job through a scheduler. Performing the job through a scheduler provides the following advantages:
  • You can create the nominal measurement for large number of TML records without any timeout error.
  • You can view the progress of the job in the Nominal Measurements window.
  • You can close the Nominal Measurements window without cancelling the job.
  • You can view the current and past job details from the scheduler.

Table 2. Resolved Issues

The following issues that existed in one or more previous versions have been resolved.

DescriptionTracking ID
Previously, if the Asset Hierarchy was configured to use the Equipment Has Equipment relationship, the Asset Hierarchy navigation links could not differentiate between a parent Equipment and a child Equipment. This issue has been resolved. DE103536
Previously, when you attempted to send TML data to a DMS Go, DMS Go+, and DMS2 datalogger devices, the data was not sent to the device if the logged in user culture was set to any culture other than English (United States). This issue has been resolved.DE94734
Previously, in the Receive From section, if you received readings from the datalogger and then navigated away from the Receive From section, the readings were not retained. This issue has been resolved. DE94438
Previously, if the number format of the user account that is used to run the Meridium Device Service is different from the number format of the English (United States) culture, when you received thickness measurement data from a TM Datalogger, the measurement values were incorrect. This issue has been resolved.DE92138
Previously, when you performed any operation that created new records, such as renew TMLs, bulk analysis of TM assets, or other such operations, multiple scheduler jobs were created, which resulted in creation of duplicate records. This issue has been resolved.DE88871
Previously, the allowable stress value for a Pressure Vessel component was populated incorrectly if you used the following combination of values::
  • Stress Lookup Table: Pressure Vessels
  • Base Material Construction Code: ASME VIII DIV 1
  • Base Material Code Year: 2010
  • Base Material Spec: SA-387
  • Base Material Grade: Class 1 or Class 2 (for example, 11-CL2)

This issue has been resolved.
