Table 1. Enhancements and New Features

The following enhancements and new features have been added.

DescriptionTracking ID
You can now delete all the Schematic Data of an Asset. 866494
To improve usability when sending and receiving/saving data from the GE DMS Go/Go+ datalogger, the Datalogger History family is now being used. TML records are now identified by entity keys stored in Datalogger History records rather than by Asset IDs and TML IDs. To facilitate this enhancement, the following changes have been made:
  • When sending data to the device, a message appears, enabling you to specify the file name and select a user to be recorded as Measurement Taken By when the measurements are subsequently received and stored.
  • Assets associated with TML Groups can now be sent as a single file. Within the file, TML Groups are identified by an asterisk before and after the ID (for example, for the TML Group TML Group1, it will appear as *TML Group1*). These entries can be skipped on the device when taking readings, allowing you to proceed to the TMLs within that group.
  • In the Receive From section, the FILENAME column is available and displays the filename corresponding to each TML record received from the device.
Note: You must install the latest version of the GE Device Service to use TM Dataloggers. Also, any TMLs sent to the DMS Go/Go+ device must be received and saved in APM before upgrading to V5.2.2. If needed, you can resend the TMLs to the device after upgrading to V5.2.2.

Table 2. Resolved Issues

The following issues, which existed in one or more previous versions, have been resolved.

DescriptionTracking ID
Previously, when data was sent to the Olympus 38DL+ or Epoch 650 devices, the TML IDs were truncated to display only the first 16 characters, even though these devices support a maximum ID length of 20 characters. This issue has been resolved. Now, the TML IDs are truncated correctly to fit the 20-character limit.
Note: To apply this fix, you must install the latest version of the GE Device Service. Additionally, though the IDs are now truncated properly, if a truncated ID results in duplicates within a file on the Epoch 650 device, readings will only be saved for the first TML with that ID due to a limitation of the Epoch 650 device.

Previously, users with certain roles could perform the following tasks:
  • Archive an analysis
  • Renew a TML
  • Exclude a TML from an analysis
  • Reset Maximum Historical Corrosion Rate (MHCR)
  • Calculate T-Min
This issue has been resolved. Now, role-based restrictions prevent unauthorized users from performing the aforementioned tasks.
