Calibration Management Workflow

This workflow provides the basic, high-level steps for using this module. The steps and links in this workflow do not necessarily reference every possible procedure. For more procedures, see the links in the Related Information section.

To calibrate a piece of equipment:

  1. Identify the piece of equipment that you want to calibrate.
  2. Identify the test equipment that you will use to perform calibration. To do so, for each piece of test equipment, you will need to create a Test Equipment, which stores details about the piece of test equipment, including whether or not the piece of test equipment is certified.
  3. Define the type of calibration that you will perform. To do so, create a Calibration Template.
  4. Apply the Calibration Template to an Asset.
  5. Define the schedule on which you will perform the calibration. To do so, create a new Calibration Task.
  6. Perform the calibration.
  7. Create a new Calibration to store the details of the calibration. You can create a Calibration either from the Calibrations tab or from a Calibration Task.
  8. Evaluate the calibration results using the reports and graphs in Calibration Management and other Meridium Enterprise APM modules.
  9. Propose a Recommendation.
