Create a Calibration

This topics describes how to create the following Calibration records to store information about the calibration that you have performed:

You can also create a Calibration from a Calibration Task.

Steps

  1. Access the Calibration Management Overview page.

    Hint: You can also access the Calibration Management Overview page for a hierarchy level.

  2. In the workspace, select the Calibrations tab.

    The Calibrations section appears, displaying a list of Calibration Events.

  3. In the upper-left corner of the workspace, select , and then select the type of calibration that you have performed.

  4. In the Select Equipment box, select .

    The Search window appears.

  5. In the Look in box, select Equipment, and then, using the other boxes in the window, refine your search as needed.

  6. Select the check box that corresponds to the Equipment that you want to link to the Calibration, and then select OK.

    The Equipment is linked to the Calibration. The Calibration Template and the Calibration Task ID fields in the datasheet provide a list of Calibration Templates and Calibration Tasks that are linked to the selected Equipment.

  7. As needed, enter values in the available fields.
  8. In the upper-right corner of the datasheet, select .

    The Calibration is created.
