Create a Calibration from a Calibration Task

This topic describes how to create a Calibration from a Calibration Task. You can also create a Calibration from the Calibrations section.

Before You Begin

• Create a Calibration Template.
• Apply the Calibration Template to the Asset on which you want to perform the Calibration.
• Create a Calibration Task.
• Perform the calibration.

Steps

1. Access the Calibration Task for which you want to perform the calibration.

2. In the upper-right corner of the datasheet that appears, select Perform Calibration.

   Note: If you have not selected a template in the Calibration Template ID field, a message appears, asking you to first select a template.

   A blank datasheet for the Calibration appears.

   

3. As needed, enter values in the available fields, and then, in the upper-right corner of the datasheet, select .

   The Calibration is created and linked to the Calibration Task, Equipment, and the Calibration Template.
