This topic describes how to access the RCA Overview page on which you can view all the information and perform various tasks related to root cause analyses for various Asset Hierarchy Levels. If you want to view root cause analyses associated with a particular Asset Hierarchy Level, you can access the RCA Overview page for an Asset Hierarchy Level.
You can perform various tasks on this page based on the membership in various Security Groups.
Steps
On the Meridium navigation menu, select Performance, and then select Root Cause Analysis.
The RCA Overview page appears, displaying the following information related to the root cause analyses for all Hierarchy Levels:
Cause Summary graph: Contains a chart that displays the number of Hypotheses, for the selected Asset Hierarchy Level and its children, that are filtered based on type of cause (i.e. Physical, Human, and Latent). The Root Cause Analyses in the Template state are not considered.
Track Results by Recommendation Implementation Year graph: Contains a line chart that displays yearly performance of Hierarchy Levels on which RCA recommendations have been implemented. The chart displays sum of all the maintenance costs associated with all the Hierarchy Levels related to the RCA recommendation. The chart plots the maintenance costs of the Hierarchy Levels for the current year and the previous four years.
By default, the Track Results by Recommendation Implementation Year graph excludes the maintenance costs associated with Production Loss Analysis (PLA). If you want to include the maintenance costs associated with PLA in this graph, you need an active license for PLA, access to the required PLA families, and use Track Results by Recommendation Implementation Year-V4 graph, which is available in the Public\Meridium\Modules\Failure Elimination\Queries\Dashboard Queries location. To use this graph, you must modify the RCA Dashboard-V4 Dashboard configuration in the Public\Meridium\Modules\Failure Elimination\Dashboards folder.
While viewing any of the above graphs, you can select
By default, the hierarchy level is set to Home. You can filter the hierarchy level by selecting
By default, the Root Cause Analysis information on this page is related to an Asset and children of the Asset. If you also want to view Root Cause Analysis information that is not related to an Asset, in the Include analyses without any assets? box, select Yes.
