About Secret Manager Connectivity

Using the Secret Manager Connectivity section, you can manage the credentials used in an Analytic Template. These credentials are used to interact with various APIs.

You can use the secret name and secret value pair (along with a constant port) defined as tenant_secrets in an Analytic Template.

Add a Secret

Before You Begin

You must have the Tenant Secrets feature enabled.

About This Task

This topic describes how to add a secret in the Secret Manager Connectivity section. You can add up to 20 secrets.

Procedure

  1. In the Applications menu, navigate to RELIABILITY > Analytics > Configuration.
  2. Expand Secret Manager Connectivity.
  3. Select
    A new row is added at the end of the list of secrets.
  4. Enter values in the Secret Name and Secret Value columns, and then select
  5. Select Save.
    The secret is added.

Modify a Secret

Procedure

  1. In the Applications menu, navigate to RELIABILITY > Analytics > Configuration.
  2. Expand Secret Manager Connectivity.
  3. In the row containing the secret that you want to modify, select .
  4. Modify values in the Secret Name and Secret Value columns, and then select
  5. Select Save.
    The secret is modified.

Delete a Secret

Procedure

  1. In the Applications menu, navigate to RELIABILITY > Analytics > Configuration.
  2. Expand Secret Manager Connectivity.
  3. In the row containing the secret that you want to delete, select .
    A message appears, asking you to confirm that you want to delete the secret.
  4. Select Yes.
    The secret is deleted.
