Resolving Misalignment of Widgets at Runtime

This troubleshooting topic provides steps to resolve widget/plug-in misalignment issues at runtime caused by mismatched scaling behavior between widgets and line connectors.

About this task

You will follow these steps to fix the alignment issue that occurs when widgets are added to a coordinate layout along with line connectors. The line connectors must be enabled or disabled based on the widget's unit of measurement.

Procedure

On the Operations Hub page designer, select the widget (e.g., Value Display or Button).
The widget properties will appear on the Details panel.
Under properties, scroll to the Coordinate Widget section and verify the Unit is set to % or px.
If the widget's unit is set to percentage %, follow these steps:
1. On the page designer, select the layout.
2. Enable the Scale Line Connector check box.
If the widget's unit is set to pixel px, follow these steps:
1. On the page designer, select the layout.
2. Disable the Scale Line Connector check box.
