You can now process hot data at regular intervals, and the available data from the past 8 days can be exported for reporting and analysis purposes. This 8-day hot data time window can also be configured in scheduled intervals at the tenant level. The exported hot data is stored in Parquet format, which enhances analytics and data processing. This feature ensures that the data remains up-to-date and accurate, making it suitable for analysis and reporting. You can contact GE Digital MDC support team to obtain the credentials for your tenant and to get the S3 location for cold data (data older than 3 months from the current date), warm data (latest data within the 3-month period), and hot data (latest data from the past 8 days). Additionally, this feature enhancement provides a local time zone column alongside the existing Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) timestamp column for all MDC data models and replica tables. This new timestamp column will represent the local site or tenant location time zone corresponding to the existing UTC timestamp. The new timestamp column will have the suffix _local added to the existing UTC timestamp column. For example, if the UTC timestamp column is named start_time, a new column named start_time_local will be added. This start_time_local column will represent the site's local time zone. This allows you to view the MDC data at your local time zone alongside the existing UTC timestamp column. |
