Proficy MDC has transitioned from High Volume Replication (HVR) to Amazon Web Services Database Migration Service (AWS DMS) for replicating data from SQL Server databases. This update enhances data replication with improved scalability, reliability, and performance. The key updates include: AWS DMS Integration: AWS DMS now manages continuous data replication, replacing HVR. Simplified Deployment: The process includes configuring site-to-site VPN connections, setting up AWS DMS replication instances, and creating SQL Server publications without requiring sysadmin roles.
