Higher capacity factor and energy output
With prototype operation beginning in 2019, the Haliade-X was the first turbine ever installed with a 12 MW generator rating and a more than 200-meter diameter rotor, giving it leading energy output at the time. Used in large commercial projects in both the Atlantic and the North Sea, the Haliade-X is constantly expanding its operational track record.

Its closed loop generator cooling system keeps the generator cool and protected from even the harshest offshore environments.
