Our innovative F35 Dual Gas GIS, 50 or 60 Hz, has been designed to drive decarbonization and digitalization, while ensuring compactness and cost-effectiveness in your high voltage substation projects up to 72.5 kV.

Discover how our solutions can meet your evolving needs:

SF6-Free Gas-Insulated Substations

Our F35 72.5 kV Dual-Gas GIS is designed to operate with either SF₆ or g³ gas as insulating and switching gas, supporting distribution system operators (DSOs) in their transition toward decarbonized substation equipment—whether driven by environmental goals or regulatory requirements.

By utilizing g3 gas instead of SF6, we are committed to significantly reducing the carbon footprint of the GIS —achieving a 99% reduction in CO2-equivalent of the gas— while maintaining dimensions, performance, and reliability of the switchgear. The F35g-72.5kV SF6-free GIS is part of our GRiDEA portfolio of solutions designed to accelerate the decarbonization of the grid.

Compact and Efficient Design

Optimize your investment with solutions that prioritize lower cost of land and civil works. Our F35g-72.5 kV GIS are meticulously engineered for compactness, minimizing spatial demands without sacrificing performance nor accessibility. This efficient design facilitates seamless integration into areas where space is limited and reliability critical.

Engineered to Withstand Saline and Seismic environment

In addition to its decarbonization benefits and compact design, our F35g-72.5 kV GIS is engineered for durability in harsh conditions—including saline environments, strong shocks, and high accelerations—throughout construction, transport, installation, and commissioning. It is ideally suited for use in seismic zones and offshore projects, where resilience is critical.

Through advanced engineering and rigorous testing, including seismic assessments up to 1g acceleration conducted at a CESI Laboratory, our substations are built to maintain operational integrity under demanding circumstances. This robust performance reflects our commitment to delivering solutions that not only meet but exceed industry standards, ensuring the long-term reliability of your high voltage substations.

F35-72.5 kV Dual Gas GIS module for wind applications

The F35 72.5 kV Gas-Insulated Substations for wind turbines represent a revolutionary step in offshore wind power technology by offering a compact, efficient, and decarbonized solution engineered to meet the growing demands of deeper and more powerful wind farms. With the ability to double the voltage compared to medium-voltage systems, the F35 GIS enhances energy management by utilizing 66 kV AC to minimize energy losses across wider areas. It is available with SF6 or g3 gas, the latest drastically reducing carbon emissions, aligning with global decarbonization goals while maintaining high performance and reliability. Engineered to withstand harsh saline and seismic environments, the F35 GIS ensures seamless integration and operational integrity in offshore settings, supported by advanced design features such as EN 50181 type F cable connections and a modular supporting frame to optimize space and simplify maintenance.
