Modify a Property Group

About this task

You must not modify the default groups that appear in the application such as Material Import, MaterialLot Import, and WorkOrder Import. If you modify any default property group, the corresponding application integration will stop working.

Procedure

  1. Select Property Definition ().
    The Property Definition page appears, displaying a list of properties available in the Plant Applications Web Client.
  2. Under the Manage Groups tab, navigate to the row containing the group you want to modify, then select Edit Group ().
    Important:
    Do not modify the default property groups such as Material Import, MaterialLot Import, WorkOrder Import.
  3. Type the updated the group name in the GROUP NAME field.
  4. Optional: To update the property category for the group, in the Edit Category drop-down list, select the required option.
  5. Select Save.
    The group name is updated.
