Text Display

Use this plug-in to add display-only text in your application.

Text Properties

Field Name Description
Label Provide the input data source to receive label names for the text plugin.
Input Value See Set Up Data Binding for Widgets
Align Choose from:
  • Left: Aligns text to the left edge of the widget.
    Tip:
    Use for left-to-right languages or to give a structured look.
  • Center: Centers the text within the widget.
    Tip:
    Use for shorter text, which can make it visually balanced.
  • Right: Aligns text to the right edge of the widget.
    Tip:
    Often used for right-to-left languages or for a more formal, stylized layout.
Line Height Sets the spacing between lines of text.

Increasing the line height creates more space between the lines. This can make the text more readable, which is particularly helpful for longer text.

Decreasing the line height reduces the line space, which might help in compact layouts where space is limited.
Use Raw Format Select the check box to display numbers in raw format.

For example, a numeric value with 5 or more decimal places is shown as it is, and not rounded off.
Number of Decimals This option appears if you do not want to display numbers in raw format.

In that case, enter the decimal places (0-7) to consider after the decimal point to format large numbers. Based on the decimals, the value is rounded off to the nearest whole number.

The decimals will apply to Input Value, Minimum Value, and Maximum Value properties.
Label Styling Formats the label: Font Family, Font Size, and Font Color formats the text.
Hidden Select this check box if you want to hide the widget. To show the hidden widget in Operations Hub new layout, go to Page Visuals and under Action column, select for the hidden widget. See Page Visuals Tab.
