Small modular nuclear reactors
GE Vernova’s small modular nuclear reactor (SMR) is the future of nuclear energy. It can provide 24/7 on-demand, carbon-free power this decade. Our SMR tech (BWRX-300) could power the equivalent of approximately 300,000 homes - but with a power plant footprint smaller than an American football field. We can’t stop thinking about the opportunities for positive impact with SMRs.
