OUR SUSTAINABILITY APPROACH
Our sustainability goal is clear: to help build a more sustainable electric power system the world needs. To succeed in our goal, we must also succeed in how we operate as a company and team.
We’re committed to improving our impacts on our people, communities, and planet. We lead with integrity, respecting human rights, and work to ensure the safety of our teams. By deeply embedding lean principles and tools, we are creating a problem-solving culture, serving our customers better, and making progress on our pledge to achieve carbon neutrality in our own operations by 2030, including Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions. We’re also committed to action that can help address some of the world's most pressing challenges, including a net zero ambition for 2050 for the Scope 3 emissions from our sold products.
Our Sustainability Principles
We understand the complexity of the challenge ahead and are committed to innovation, agility, and collaboration, guided by our core principles.
- 1
Credibility
Knowing this path will take decades, we prioritize credibility first and foremost with our stakeholders to share what we objectively know and do not know. This also means that as we get better and more credible information, we will share that with our stakeholders.
- 2
Continuous learning
Our analysis is based on how we see things today. We are committed to continuous learning to enable more insights and opportunities to make a difference, and we expect to make progress over time.
- 3
Collaboration
We know no one company can solve these issues alone. With GE Vernova's spirit of humility, we welcome continued collaborations with our customers, investors, regulators, peers, and those throughout our value chain, to achieve success toward our goals.
- 4
Commitment to Innovation and Technology
GE Vernova plays an important role in achieving the energy sector’s net zero goals by delivering state-of-the-art technology today to make progress while innovating breakthrough technologies for tomorrow.

ALIGNMENT WITH THE UN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
