GE Vernova’s Consulting Services software team offers scheduled and custom PSLF training developed to turn software access into deeper capability. Our training engineers bring real consulting experience using PSLF, and many have also helped shape the development of PSLF. Through online demonstrations, guided instruction, and hands-on classroom learning, these courses help users build practical skills and a stronger understanding of how to use PSLF with confidence. Our Consulting Services team configures PSLF to provide comprehensive, accurate power system analysis across load flow, dynamic simulation, and short circuit studies. Engineers use PSLF to evaluate transfer limits, support economic dispatch, and simulate the movement of large blocks of power across transmission networks, including imports from and exports to neighboring systems.
Our purpose-driven courses help users build practical PSLF skills and apply the software more effectively across real planning workflows. PSLF courses are approved by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and Professional Development Hours (PDHs).
For some PSLF courses, some background in stability and network analysis, along with familiarity with generator, exciter, or governor modeling, is an additional plus.
All registrants must have a valid PSLF license to attend the training sessions.
