This April, we’re once again bringing together the incredible community of Asset Performance Management (APM) leaders, practitioners, and innovators at GE Vernova’s Global APM User Conference in Houston, Texas. In 2024, we had customers, partners, and GE Vernova experts travel from across the globe to share valuable insights about the future of asset-intensive industries.

At the heart of this event is the chance to hear directly from expert APM customers who have achieved extraordinary results. Their stories—how they’ve scaled their programs, tackled complex challenges, and unlocked measurable value—offer invaluable lessons for others. Whether you’re just beginning your APM journey or looking to take it to the next level, the insights shared can serve as a roadmap to achieving similar success.

The conference is also an exciting moment to look ahead to the future of Asset Performance Management at GE Vernova. We’ll be showcasing the latest innovations in our platform, from advanced AI/ML capabilities to software designed to meet the evolving needs of the industry. Attendees will gain a firsthand understanding of how these advancements can drive efficiency, reliability, and sustainability across their operations.

Above all, this event is about connecting—a chance for customers, partners, and the GE Vernova team to collaborate, share ideas, and strengthen a community dedicated to transforming asset management in energy.

A look back at GE Vernova’s Global APM User Conference 2024
Let’s take a quick look back on 2024’s event, and why it gets me excited for what’s to come this April.

Our Customers: More than 300 customers joined us in 2024, with 60-plus unique organizations being represented that spanned oil & gas, power generation, renewables, manufacturing, aviation, metals & mining and others. These attendees came from 38 different countries—showing a true commitment to partnership, innovation and continuous improvement. Throughout two days, 10 of our customers shared insights, experience, outcomes, and vision for GE Vernova’s APM in their organization. In 2024 we had presentations from leaders at:
  • Xcel Energy
  • Nova Scotia Power
  • SOCAR Turkiye
  • Cosmo Oil
  • Bayer Crop Science
  • Chevron Phillips Chemical
  • Pertamina
  • PETRONAS
  • Sasol
  • A2A
Our People: As part of our commitment to our customers, prospects and partners, GE Vernova provided five in-person focus groups for our APM applications, hosted a Solutions Studio to answer people’s hard-hitting questions, and even provided in-person troubleshooting and training opportunities.

Our Technology: The advancements since the release of version APM V5.0 were on full display at the event. In collaboration with our customers, partners and others, attendees got the opportunity to get a hands-on experience with our applications. Organizations could provide valuable feedback, help us prioritize roadmap and even highlight some functionality that could be value to their organizations.

Our Vision: Through our keynotes, training sessions, user groups and casual lunchtime conversations, it was evident that GE Vernova’s APM business is aligned on the vision to get powerful, modern, and scalable software into the hands of our customers. From advanced analytics, Industrial Managed Services (IMS), condition-based monitoring solutions for operators, or 2D/3D schematics for inspections—the focus remains on supporting the future of energy.

Our Shared Opportunity: The feedback gained at the 2024 Conference made it evident that GE Vernova, our customers, partners and prospective customers have a shared opportunity to digitalize operations, reduce risk, increase availability, and ultimately deliver on key KPIs. This shared opportunity was made clear in the open dialogue about the future of APM and areas where we can better support our customers.
Here are a some quotes from our customers after the event in 2024:

Really great event from all the hospitality and valuable connections and introductions to other fellow APM champions! Very interesting to learn how other world class companies are in their journey of Asset Performance Management leveraging it through APM technology from GE.

…I was happy to see the numbers, but also impressed that people travel from all over the world to get to an event like that… You have an ability to assemble the world to discuss important issues, and how to leverage technology to solve problems.

What to look forward to at the 2025 APM user conference
So, why am I excited for 2025? A chance to provide even more value to our APM ecosystem to truly enhance the way we all work. As I look forward to this April, here are a few things you can expect when joining us in Houston:
  1. 1:1 Engagement around what’s most important to your organization: Just like in 2024, all of GE Vernova’s APM experts will be in Houston. From our Commercial experts, to services, those interested will get the opportunity to have their voice heard.
  2. Customer Collaboration: Although I can’t expand too much, the post-event collaboration between customers in 2024 was exciting. Experts from different industries, were able to learn from one another, develop ideas to take back to their organization and continue collaboration post-event. This year, expect more of the same.
  3. New technology: All I can say is that, during my work with our product team, we have some really fun things to share with you all in April. This year attendees will have the ability to hear about our progress and vision for GenAI, our work with internal GE business units for generate more value for our customers, and more. If you have read or heard my thoughts on emerging technology before, you will know I am a realist, but some of this will be VERY exciting to share with you all.
As your organization begins to plan for 2025 and beyond, this event can be a critical input for those plans. With the APM space evolving rapidly, GE Vernova has been consistently named a leader in the space. I would like to urge you all to come join us, ask the hard questions, meet our experts, network with industry counterparts, and create a vision for how APM can be a critical system for our asset performance requirements.
