F35-145 kV Dual Gas GIS
SF₆ and SF₆-free g³-Gas-Insulated Substations up to 145 kV
Our F35-145 kV Dual-Gas GIS —compatible with both SF₆ and g³ gases—is designed to meet the demands of electrical networks up to 145 kV. It is ideally suited for a wide range of applications, including offshore and onshore wind power generation, distribution networks, infrastructure projects, and industrial installations.
Advancing Decarbonization with the F35g-145 kV SF6-Free GIS
The F35g-145 kV is available in a fully SF₆-free version using our g3 technology, one of the company’s alternative technologies to SF₆, achieving a 99% reduction in the gas’ CO₂-equivalent contribution to global warming.
Maintaining the same dimensions, compactness, performance, and electrical ratings as its SF₆-based counterpart, the F35g-145 also benefits from an enhanced sealing system and improved gas tightness, resulting in a significantly lower overall carbon footprint.
The integration of low-power instrument transformers (LPITs), also known as digital voltage and current transformers, further enhances the decarbonization of the F35 Dual Gas GIS while reducing the consumption of critical raw materials such as copper.
Digital Native GIS
Digital native equipment is mechanically engineered to reach the accuracy required with advanced monitoring & control solutions to meet new grid constraints. Our F35-145 kV Dual Gas GIS is designed with sustainability in mind, ready to connect and operate fast and effectively to simplify your sourcing and operational experience and finally, get rid of complexity.
Built on our new dual-gas GIS platform, the digital-native F35 comes equipped by default with integrated sensors such as BWatch, PDWatch, and low-power instrument transformers, enabling seamless plug-and-play compatibility with all our latest-generation digital devices. Additionally, it features our advanced point-on-wave controller, the CSD100, for enhanced switching precision.
The low-voltage controlled cubicle is assembled, pre-configured and fully factory-tested with the GIS Bay.
NEW FEATURE:
Discover our new F35-145 kV with ratings up to 4,000 A and 63 kV. Our F35 GIS is engineered to meet the demands of 145 kV networks, with a short-circuit current rating of 63 kA, a continuous current rating of 4000 A, and a full compliance with IEEE standards. It is ideally suited for a wide range of applications, including transmission, distribution, infrastructure, industrial facilities, and offshore power generation.
