Morocco, February 10, 2021 – GE Vernova was awarded a contract to build two substations in the south of Morocco that will evacuate power from the Boujdour wind farm and other renewable energy projects to neighboring communities, as well as connect it to the national grid of Morocco. The project is owned and developed by ONEE (Moroccan public authority) and other private partners, and consists of a 300 MW wind farm.
