We have two updates to share from items in late May 2026, including highlights from the 42nd Bernstein Strategic Decisions Conference and a recent small acquisition announcement.

Bernstein Strategic Decisions Conference

Last week, our CEO Scott Strazik spoke with investors at the 42nd Bernstein Strategic Decisions Conference, outlining the significant opportunities ahead for GE Vernova.

Key themes from the discussion included:

  • Our large installed base powers 25% of the world's electricity and serves as the foundation for our growing services business, which has a $87B backlog as of Q1'26 and will reach ~$20B in annual revenue by 2027
  • We have grown our equipment backlog by 80% to $76B since our spin-off from GE in April 2024. We expect to grow our installed base as we execute on this backlog, driving a much larger and more profitable services business into the 2030s
  • Electrification, our fastest-growing segment, is expected to expand its backlog to $60B in 2027, up from $9B at year-end 2022 and $42B at the end of Q1’26
  • We are seeing solid early returns from our acquisition of Prolec GE, with $500M in U.S. orders secured in 2026 year-to-date that will be fulfilled by our legacy GE Vernova international factories, something we could not do under our historical JV with Prolec

Robotech Automation Acquisition

On May 21, we announced the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire Robotech Automation, a specialized robotics and automation systems integrator based in Canada. The proposed transaction would augment ongoing robotics and automation efforts within our Advanced Research Center (ARC) for deployment across our supply chain to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost outcomes. The transaction also supports our capital allocation strategy, which includes strategic, targeted M&A.
