Notice to California Residents

This California Privacy Notice supplements the GE Vernova Privacy Policy and applies to California residents whose personal information is collected by GE Vernova and its wholly and majority-owned entities (collectively, “GE Vernova,” “we,” “us,” and “our”). For details about GE Vernova’s collection, use, disclosure, retention and other processing of personal information please see the GE Vernova Privacy Policy at Privacy | GE Vernova | The Energy of Change, including the sections titled “Personal Information We Obtain,” “How We Use Personal Information,” “Personal Information Sharing,” and “Retention of Personal Information.” If a particular GE Vernova Business provides a separate privacy and/or information-handling practices notice, that notice may provide additional or more specific information for that Business.

Categories of personal information

During the preceding 12 months, GE Vernova may have collected the categories of personal information described in the GE Vernova Privacy Policy, including, as applicable, contact information; account information; biographical and demographic information; purchase and customer service history; financial information; location data; precise geolocation where notice and choice are provided; and audio, electronic or visual information. The Privacy Policy also describes the categories of sources of personal information, the purposes for which GE Vernova collects and uses personal information, the categories of third parties to whom personal information is disclosed, and GE Vernova’s retention practices.

Sensitive personal information

GE Vernova does not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require GE Vernova to provide a right to limit under the CCPA, unless a separate GE Vernova Business Unit privacy and/or information-handling practices notice states otherwise and provides the required method for submitting a request to limit.

Sale and sharing of personal information

GE Vernova does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, unless a separate GE Vernova Business Unit privacy and/or information-handling practices notice states otherwise. If a GE Vernova Business Unit sells or shares personal information, that Business Unit notice will include the required “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link or “Your Privacy Choices”/“Your California Privacy Choices” link and instructions for submitting an opt-out request, including through any required opt-out preference signal.

Your California privacy rights

Subject to the CCPA and other applicable law, California residents may have the right to request to know and access personal information that GE Vernova has collected about them; request deletion of personal information; request correction of inaccurate personal information; opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, or if applicable; limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information, if applicable; and not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising CCPA rights. GE Vernova will not discriminate against you for exercising CCPA rights, except as permitted by the CCPA, including where any price or service difference is reasonably related to the value provided by your personal information.

How to submit requests

To submit a CCPA request, please use the Your Privacy Choices form, or you may send an email to dataprotectionoffice@gevernova.com with “CCPA Request” in the subject line and in the body of your message describing your specific request.

California “Shine the Light” requests

In addition, subject to certain limits under California law, California residents may ask us to provide (1) a list of certain categories of personal information we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the immediately preceding calendar year and (2) the identity of those third parties. To request this information, please send an email to dataprotectionoffice@gevernova.com with "California Shine the Light Privacy Request" in the subject line and in the body of your message.

Once we receive your request, we may verify it by requesting information sufficient to confirm your identity, including by asking you for additional information. We will use verification information only for verification and request-processing purposes. We generally do not verify opt-out requests, but we may request information necessary to process the request. If you would like to use an authorized agent to exercise your rights, we may request evidence that you have provided the agent with power of attorney or other valid written authority to submit requests to exercise rights on your behalf.
