São Paulo, BRAZIL and Paris, FRANCE December 1, 2022 - GE Vernova Renewable Energy’s Grid Solutions Services team used digital X-ray technology – guided by the same principle utilized in the healthcare industry – to complement the preventive maintenance in Petrobras’ gas insulated substation (GIS), in the Abreu e Lima Refinery (RNEST), state of Pernambuco (Brazil).

GE Vernova’s Grid Solutions today announced its selection by Omexom Norway to deliver four 145 kV g³ gas insulated substation (GIS) bays to equip Nordkraft Industrinett AS’ Skoglung Skoglund substation. GE Vernova’s g³ insulating and switching gas is the SF₆-free alternative for high voltage equipment.
