Atlanta, GA, USA October 27, 2022 — GE Vernova’s Grid Solutions and Power Conversion businesses (NYSE: GEV) have been selected by Baker Hughes, an energy technology company, to provide the high-voltage (HV) equipment and the energy management system (EMS) to support Venture Global LNG’s Plaquemines liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility in Louisiana.

GE Vernova’s Grid Solutions today announced its selection by Omexom Norway to deliver four 145 kV g3 gas insulated substation (GIS) bays to equip Nordkraft Industrinett AS’ Skoglung Skoglund substation. GE Vernova’s g3 insulating and switching gas is the SF6-free alternative for high voltage equipment.
