Use Legend to Interpret Data

The legend helps you track and manage displayed data.

Remove a Property: Simplify the display by deleting specific plotted data.
Show or Hide Plotted Data: Control the visibility of plotted data to focus on specific points by hiding unnecessary trends.
Display Engineering Units: If a source tag has engineering units (EGU), they appear in the legend, tooltip, and Y-axis.

For the respective data point in the legend, select to remove it from the chart.

Show or Hide Plotted Data

For the respective data point in the legend, select to toggle between showing and hiding the data on the chart.

Display Engineering Units

Engineering units help users interpret data correctly. When a source tag includes engineering units, these units appear on the Y-axis, legend, and tooltip.

However, if you configure the trend chart to use a single Y-axis, the units will be shown only in the legend and tooltip, ensuring they remain visible without cluttering the axis.
